and their families. Join us for family
friendly games and activities including pictures with the Easter Bunny and some
very special guests including Olaf,
Elsa, Anna and other Princess friends.

1:00pm – 1:45pm – Meet & Greet with the Easter Bunny**
A special visit with the Easter Bunny will make for a
memorable holiday photo opportunity. Olaf, Elsa, Anna and her princess friends
will also be there. Bring your cameras for that perfect Easter
photo. Dogs on a leash are also welcome
but please be sure to pick up after your pet.
1:45pm – Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt
2:00pm – Siblings Easter Egg Hunt
Is there an age limit for the Special Needs Egg Hunt? In the special needs area we welcome all ages and special abilities from 1 to 100. For the sibling area, we welcome ages 1-12.
Will you have different areas
based on ability/ need?
Yes, we will have several different areas based on ability and needs. We will be having areas 1-3 go first. Parents and helpers are welcome to help their children hunt for eggs as well.
Area 1: Special Needs Area – Mobility – This area will contain easter eggs with balloons on them to accommodate special needs mobility for wheelchairs and walkers. We will also have eggs on top of cones to make for easy pick ups.
Area 2: Special Needs Area – Dietary Restrictions – This area will contain Easter eggs with special prizes and no candy in order to accommodate any special dietary restrictions.
Area 3: Special Needs Area – This area will be for special needs children. The eggs will contain candy and also sensory friendly items. Along with this we have eggs of different sizes to make them easier to grip.
Area 4: Siblings of Special Needs area: This area will be for the siblings of special needs children – Ages 1- 12.
What is in the eggs?
We will have candy and prizes in the eggs with the exception of the Special Needs Dietary area. In the special needs dietary area there will be no candy in the eggs. Instead the eggs will contain fun items such as stickers, tattoos and other small fun items.
Can I help my kids? Yes, absolutely!
Do I need to sign up? Yes! Pre-registration is required. You can quickly and easily sign up at Event Brite.
drop my children off? No, a parent or a guardian is required for attendance
with this very special event.
there a cost for this event? There is no cost to attend. The Houston Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt is
Free. The event is entirely sponsored by
generous donations and 100% volunteer effort.
We realize that events like this
are not common and we want you to enjoy it without being charged an entry fee
to have fun.
Is this event for siblings as well?
Yes. All brothers and sisters at the event will be
able to participate in our general egg hunt and other activities offered for
ages 1-12. Please register all children who will be participating.
What are the egg hunt times?
The first Egg Hunt will start at 1:45pm
on April 4th,. The
special needs Easter Egg Hunt will happen first, followed by the Siblings
Easter Egg hunt. This allows parents or
siblings to assist with children who may need additional support during the egg
What happens if the weather is bad?
Since this is an outside event, it will be rescheduled if there is rain.
The rain date will be Saturday, April 11th. All times on the schedule will be the

Can I volunteer? YES, WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU VOLUNTEER! We need help with the following areas:
- Prep Team / Egg Stuffers (you can do this at home in your spare time!)
- Setting up and cordoning the Egg Hunt Areas (Dads are especially needed for this!)
- Setting out the Eggs
- Sign In Area – Helping our guests sign in
- Character Assistance to help Olaf and the Easter Bunny meet and greet all their new friends/ assist with taking photos if needed
- Floaters / Special Needs Assistance
- Activities/ Games
- Clean Up

Can I donate? YES! ABSOLUTELY! In lieu of monetary donations we are requesting the following items:
Empty Plastic Easter Eggs in all sizes. We will need some larger sized eggs for children who may have difficulty picking up the smaller eggs.
Gold Easter Eggs – Qty. 50
Candy! We are seeking candy to put inside the eggs. Non melting candy is especially appreciated. Examples include: Jelly Beans, Tootsie Rolls, Sweet Tarts, Skittles, etc.
Stickers, small toys, tattoos, etc – items that are child friendly and can be put in the children’s dietary restrictions easter eggs.
Water – Small bottles are wonderful for little hands
Books – We will be collecting children’s new and gently used books
New and Gently Used Prizes for Golden Ticket: Examples Stuffed Animals, Small Toys, etc.

Do I need a ticket? No, there will be a sign in area but you will need to preregister for this event in order to attend. *Please note all participants must pre-register. No Exceptions* This allows us to plan in advance and to accommodate special needs to the best of our ability.
